About Safe and Sound Nannies
Safe and Sound Nannies is a full-service nanny screening placement agency. Safe and Sound Nannies will carefully consider your qualifications in determining whether we can place you with a family. We are not a nanny database, and we do not automatically send applicants to families.
We are looking for qualified, caring San Diego nannies for our client families. We only send out San Diego nannies who earn our confidence. If we feel confident regarding your qualifications, your references, your interview with us, and your interactions with us, then we will refer you to suitable families for interviews.
Nanny Qualifications
To apply for our jobs, you must meet the following requirements:
You must be able to commit to a job for ONE FULL YEAR. If you are unable to commit for one year, please do not apply.
- You must have a minimum 2 years childcare experience preferably as a nanny. Preschool or teaching experience is acceptable. (Caring for children in your own family does not count)
- You must be over 21 years of age.
- You must be a non-smoker.
- You must own a reliable car, have auto insurance and have a good driving record.
- You must speak English.
- You must be able to legally work in the United States.
- You must have excellent childcare references with current phone numbers.
- You must willing to obtain CPR certification.
- You must have no felony or misdemeanor convictions.
It is desirable, but not required to have:
- Child development courses in school
- Twin experience
- Infant experience
