How We're Different from Other Nanny Agencies and Databases

San Diego Nanny Loving Child

1. All of our nanny candidates first complete a standardized, statistically validated personality screen.

Nannies who pass the personality screen and who have solid nanny experience and excellent references are then interviewed in-person for 90 minutes. As a mother myself, I am always asking: "is this someone I would bring into my home to care for my child?"

2. We send you quality, not quantity.

We feel we're being hired by you to find the best nannies. We have been placing nannies for 12 years and have a large network of excellent nannies whom we have placed in the past. We are also constantly screening new candidates. We won't waste your valuable time by sending you candidates who are underqualified, inexperienced, or mismatched to your requirements. Most of our families hire the first or second nanny candidate we send them.

3. We conduct thorough background checks for your safety

The background check includes a search of the national sex offender database and on-site checks of misdemeanor and felony court records for each county in which the candidate has lived. We provide Trustline fingerprinting upon request. We also perform driving record checks and all nannies are required to have current CPR and First Aid certification.

4. When you select a nanny candidate, we recommend "trial work days"

Have the nanny work on a trail basis (up to two weeks) to make sure that the nanny and your family are a good fit before you formally hire her and pay our fee.

5. We have a one year replacement policy for full time nannies, and a 6 month replacement policy for part time nannies.**

If your nanny were to leave for any reason within one year, (other than if she were not receiving the agreed-upon pay or hours), then we would replace her at no charge.

6. We devote time and effort to matching your family's personality with a nanny's personality.

During the trial days you also have the opportunity to get to know your nanny before you hire her.

7. We screen out the majority of candidates who come our way.

This is a time-consuming process, but as a mother myself, it is worth the time and effort to only send out the best caregiviers for your child.
