Getting Started

Safe and Sound Nannies works with you to find the best San Diego nanny for your family. Our placement process is outlined below:

Step 1. Tell Us About Your Family

You may click on the link below to fill out a form about your family. You may also call us at (858) 551-8080. Any information you provide will be held in the strictest confidence.

Step 2. Review, Sign and Return our Fee Agreement

Download the fee agreement. It basically states that you will pay our fee ONLY if you hire a nanny that we send you. It also discusses our 180 day replacement policy. Call us with any questions, or fax it back with your signature.

Step 3. Interview Safe and Sound Nanny Candidates

When we receive your fee agreement, we will call you to discuss your situation in more detail including your preferences, specific needs and personality style. We'll e-mail you information about our nannies, including their resume, references, and personality screen results. You may contact the nanny directly to arrange an interview. After your interview, call us to discuss your impression of the nanny candidate. If you are interested in hiring a candidate, we recommend that you arrange some "trial days" with the nanny.

Step 4. Extend a Job Offer

You may extend a job offer to a candidate at any time. Trial days are recommended before the nanny is formally hired. We will send a contract for you and the nanny to sign regarding her hours, pay, and work expectations. We will charge your credit card for Safe and Sound Nannies' fee on her first formal day of work.
