Welcome!
How We Work
Safe and Sound Nannies places qualified San Diego Nannies with
loving, stable families. We believe that we are successful only
if you -- the nanny -- are successful.
We ask that you undergo a simple yet thorough screening process
that includes an application, a true/false personality screen,
employment reference checks, court record check, Trustline Certification
through the State of California (we cover the cost) and a driving
record check. Safe and Sound Nannies chooses only qualified San
Diego nannies with verifiable references to work for our families.
If you meet our qualifications, we will place you with a family
where you should be treated with respect, and your care of the
children will be valued and compensated fairly. We endeavor to
work quickly and do not waste your valuable time. We are protective
of our nannies and we only work with quality families so that
you and their children can build a long-term relationship that
benefits everyone.

Our Policy Regarding Families and Nannies
Safe and Sound Nannies maintains a policy of placing competent
nannies with an appropriate families. A mutually respectful relationship
between the family and our agency, and the family and a nanny
candidate is vitally important. We are selective of our nannies,
and we seek to place them with families such that positive relationships
can be developed that are beneficial for both the nanny and the
family. We refer only nannies who have been through our selection
process and have earned our trust. At the same time, we expect
that the family will treat the nanny with respect. Our goal is
for the family and their nanny to maintain a stable, enduring
relationship that is mutually beneficial and rewarding. We try
to lay the groundwork for this relationship so that the children
have predictability in their life and form a healthy attachment
to their caregiver.
